If you're confused about ChickHEN and what it is and does than here it is. IF you have version 5.03 or lower on ANY PSP, you can install CFW onto your unit for FREE!

On the 1000, 2000 or 3000. There is an exploit that allows you to run ChickHEN on your PSP. HEN is a Homebrew Enabled Environment. Once you have ChickHEN running, you will be able to load CFW onto your PSP.

Bottom line, if you're lucky enough to not have updated past 5.03, congratulations you can install CFW on your PSP without buying a thing. The only problem is, you won't be able to unbrick your PSP with ChickHEN. I suggest making a Pandora battery once your have your CFW loaded.
